Hello all!
I'm Liam, Head of creative at Subtle Tales Studios. Our entire goal is to help people tell their stories. The motivation for this came when a friend once said "We had to choose between buying more stuff, or feeding our actors, we chose to feed our actors"'. I didn't feel like that was a choice people should have to make. We don't rent gear, we bring gear and crew that know how to use it to your project.
I myself been toying with audio, editing, and graphic design for a long damn time. The last couple of years I've begun to delve into VFX, and this years adventure, grading. I do what I do because I can't not do it. I have to create to stay a normal happy human being. Creating is my sanity! I'm a big fan of quick creative challenges. The last solo project I did I wanted to get done from start to finish in less than 8 hours (Shooting to Render). I did. And it still one of the most amusing projects I've ever worked on.
I'm always up for testing ideas, techniques, or just shooting random stuff. So if anyone wants to just get together and play around with gear, let me know, if I'm available I'm there!
